1. Basignani Winery

Basignani Winery is a popular wine spot located in Baltimore, MD. It is owned by a couple named Bertero (Bert) and Lynne Basignani, established in 1986. Before starting their winery, both husband and wife had been growing grapes in their backyard since 1974. Bertero has Italian grandparents, and he dreamed of following in their footsteps, who used to make pure and original wine at home. This thought led him to buy 10 acres of land in the MD. He was a college student in those days, but still, he didn’t give up on his dream and got it fulfilled with all the courage and passion he had. And now, after a good 40 years, he has been running a successful winery along with her beloved wife that produces 6500 gallons of wine.

Basignani Winery grows different elite grapes at their farms, which include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Burdin, Seyval, and Villard grape varieties. It produces several kinds of wines like dry whites, dry reds, and many other sweet wines.
